01Who is responsible for your data

SENSARA is a joint venture of Meisheng Group and Carlom. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection law, the data controller for this website is the EU-based partner:

02What we collect

The launch notice form asks for one thing: your work email address. We also record the date and time you gave your consent and which consent wording you saw, so we can show it was given.

We do not ask for your name, phone number or any other detail. We do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions about you.

03Why we collect it

To send you SENSARA launch news: a confirmation when you sign up, the announcement when SENSARA goes live and invitations to meet the SENSARA team at events around the launch, such as IZB 2026 in Wolfsburg. We do not use your address for anything else, and we do not send a regular newsletter.

04Legal basis

Your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You give it by ticking the box next to the email field. The box is unticked by default and the form does not submit without it.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@sensarasuede.com. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before you withdrew.

05How long we keep it

We keep your address until the launch announcement and the launch events have taken place, and for no longer than 31 December 2026. If you withdraw your consent earlier, we delete it within 30 days of your request. Every email we send tells you how to withdraw.

06Who processes it for us

This website and the launch notice list are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., acting as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum. The list is stored in a database located in the European Union.

Emails are sent through Resend, acting as our processor, which receives your address only to deliver our messages to you.

We do not sell, rent or share your address with third parties for commercial purposes. Only authorised staff of the SENSARA partners who need it to send the launch message can access it.

07Transfers outside the EU

The list is stored in the European Union. Cloudflare may process technical request data through its global network, and Resend is based in the United States. Where either involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in that provider's data processing terms.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you can:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• correct it if it is inaccurate
• ask us to delete it
• restrict or object to its use
• receive it in a portable format
• withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@sensarasuede.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

09Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The connection to this website is encrypted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we keep what we hold to the minimum.

10Cookies and embedded services

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts, images and video are served from our own hosting, and the page makes no requests to third-party services.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If a change affects how we use your address, we will ask for your consent again.
